KARACHI, Dec 11: Six ships carrying palm oil, coal and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.Berthing activity at the wharves was brisk where 11 vessels were berthed during the last two days to load cement and unload containers and general cargo. They are: Wakatp, Soraya to unload and load general cargo, Oel Esteem, Iran Shahryar, Viking Merlin, Pu He, Amasis and Jaded-C to unload and load containers, Jaeger to load cement, Swat to offload crude oil and Ikan Acapulco, bulk carrier.

Sailing was also active as nine ships, Iran Shahryar, Oel Aishwarya, Viking Merlin, Bunga Kenari, Pattaya Navee, Le Ye, Wakato and Evgenia departed, while Pu He, Goldensari Indah, Jade-C, Nator and Swat are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.162m tons comprising 37.805 tons of export tonnage including 19,273 tons of clinker and 0.124m tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are expected to arrive on Tuesday: Opal Pacific Jade with 7,000 and 7,800 tons of palm oil, Gallant Wave, APL Dalian and Acx Mimosa with containers and Yigris with 44,000 tons of coal.
