LAHORE, Dec 9: Salim Altaf, the director-operations of the Pakistan Cricket Board, will not be able to attend the meeting of the 2011 World Cup hosts, to be held in India on Tuesday, as his wife will not accompany him since her passport was lost on way to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.
Salim has a dislocated wrist and cannot travel without company. In the meeting, representatives of all the four hosts of the World Cup – Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – will consider various issues including allocation of matches.
