HYDERABAD, Dec 9: The Sindh University Alumnae Association (SUAA) would award a gold medal each year to the top student of the university and host a dinner in the honour of new alumnae on December 15 coinciding it with the convocation, said a meeting of the SUAA executive council presided over by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mazharul Haq Siddiqui on Friday.The meeting invited the university's old and new students to become members of the association and decided that it would give a dinner reception to the new members.

SUAA Secretary Prof Agha Riaz Hassan informed the meeting that the association had developed a website and advised all the members to send their profile with latest photographs to be displayed on itthe website.

Executive council members, Prof. Raja M. Ilyas, Dr Parveen Munshi, Dr. Mehmood Mughal, members Vice-Chancellor Isra University Dr Asadullah Kazi, Cadet College Dokri Principal M. Yousuf Shaikh, Dr Qamar Wahid, Registrar Mohammad Saleh Rajar and Controller of Examination Dr Parvez Pathan attended the meting.

MUET: The controller of examinations of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) announced that examinations for the students of Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET) of Karachi would be held on December 14 at DCET.

The students of 2nd term final year (8th term), 2nd term third year (6th term), 1st term 2nd year, 3rd term Bachelor of Engineering, Electronic, Chemical, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management and Bachelor of Architecture and 2nd term final year (10th term) Bachelor of Architecture would be eligible to sit the examination.
