DHAKA, Dec 9: The Bangladesh government late on Saturday announced it would deploy armed forces across the country to maintain law and order ahead of January elections, the state-run BSS news agency said.
“The government tonight ordered armed forces deployment in aid of the civil administration to maintain law and order ahead of the general elections,” the BSS said quoting a brief home ministry statement.—AFP
