KARACHI: 600 deportees due today


KARACHI, Dec 8: A cargo boat carrying 600 Pakistanis, arrested and deported by the Oman government, is arriving at Ghas Bander, Keamari, on Saturday morning.

Arrangements for the release and repatriation of these Pakistanis have been made by the Ansar Burney Trust International with the cooperation of the ministries of interior and foreign affairs.

The deportees are being brought back onboard Al-Mohammadi 2, said the Trust which has also made special arrangements to serve food and provide new clothes to the deportees.

On the especial directives of Tariq Parvez, Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), senior officials from all four provinces will also be present at Ghas Bander to collect information from the deportees about the agents involved in human trafficking by luring people to lucrative jobs, better future and smart package.—PPI
