Two held, contraband seized

ATTOCK, Dec 7: The Pindigheb police have arrested two outlaws along with arms and drugs. The police said they arrested Mohammad Akbar, a proclaimed offender, andrecovered a 30-bore pistol and 5,000 bullets from his possession near village Nulhad.

In another attempt, police arrested Mohammad Riaz and recovered a 30-bore pistol, three bullets and 35 gram hashish.

Three injured: Three persons were injured by their rivals over a minor dispute in village Sheenbagh, the Saddar police said.

Saeed Hassan, Anjum Khan and Shafqat Niaz of village Sheenbagh were attacked by Mohammad Akram, Shahid, Rafaqat, Usman, Zeeshan, Banaras, Mohammad Arshad and Asif Khan with clubs after the former stopped them from passing through a street.

The injured were taken to the district headquarters hospital Attock.
