KARACHI: Naval chief inspects Seaspark

KARACHI, Dec 7: Pakistan Navy’s biannual exercise Seaspark 06 has entered the crucial phase of war manoeuvres east of Karachi along the Indus delta country in the Arabia Sea.

Chief of the Naval Staff , Admiral Muhammad Afzal, visited the deployment areas at Shah Bandar, Chhor Jamali and Keti Bandar creeks and witnessed Pakistan Marines conducting exercises in an extreme adverse environment of marshy lands and muddy areas and extreme weather conditions, said an Inter Services Public Relations spokesman. The peace-time exercise was aimed at assessing the war preparedness of the Pakistan Navy.
