KARACHI, Dec 7: Five ships carrying DAP fertiliser, general cargo and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where eight vessels, Al-Manakh, Iran Hesabi, Mega-2, Hyundai Stride and Y.M. Moon to unload and load containers, NMT Ropseto offload general cargo, Sea Rose to load general cargo and George, to load clinker were berthed.

Six ships, Kota Permai, Iran Heasbi, APL Jable Ali, AL-Manakh, Shalamar and Lady Kyriaki departed on Thursday, while Mariupol, Pan Dynamic, Y.M.Moon, Meg-2, Calvin P Titus, Bow de Jin and George are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.126m tons comprising 24,020 tons of export cargo including 5,572 tons of clinker and 0.102m tons of import cargo was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Bunga Kenari, with containers, Ikan Acapulco, with 43,563 tons of fertiliser, Iron Butterfly, Le Ye and Wakato, with general cargo.
