KARACHI: Young man shot dead

KARACHI, Dec 5: A young man was gunned down by unknown persons in the Manghopir area late on Monday night. Police said Waqar Ahmed, 21, son of Manzoor Ahmed, was shot in the head and chest by unknown persons on a motorcycle.

A duty officer of the Mangopir police station said Waqar went out of home to buy a cellphone card when the incident occurred. Someone told the family that Waqar was laying in a wounded condition. They rushed to the spot and took him to the hospital. However, he died on the way. Police suspected personal enmity as a motive behind the killing.
