Soldier hurt by landmine in Kohlu

QUETTA, Dec 4: A soldier was injured seriously in a landmine blast in Kahan area of the Kohlu district on Monday. He was identified as Abdul Waheed.

According to official sources, the soldier was going to his camp when the anti-personnel landmine blew up, injuring him seriously.

He was immediately taken to the Sibi CMH.

“Waheed lost one leg and hand in the blast”, the sources said.

Meanwhile, militants fired rockets on some areas in Nushki and Mastung on Monday evening.

Three rockets landed in an open place in Nushki, causing no damage.

Three rockets exploded in Mastung, some 50-km off Quetta.

One rocket hit the wall of a house owned by Manzoor Mangi, while two others exploded at an isolated place.
