KARACHI, Dec 4: Brisk berthing activity was observed at the port where five ships carrying containers, crude oil, chemicals and iron ore were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.
Meanwhile, two more container ships arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at 77 per cent.
A cargo volume of 64,179 tons comprising 51,293 tons of import and 12,886 tons of export tonnage was handled.
Dongiovanni and Sichem Padua were expected to leave the port on Monday.
