Five girls’ schools opened in Dir

TIMERGARA, Dec 2: A ceremony marking the opening of five girls’ schools in the Upper and Lower Dir districts held here on Saturday. Lower Dir Nazim Ahmad Hassan Khan was the chief guest.

The schools have been set up at Misyalorh Asbaner, Buthqila Asbaner and Zarbeg Uch in Lower Dir, and Daskorh Wari and Qadirabad Karodarra in Upper Dir. The schools would work under the auspices of Khwaendo Kor, NGO, and Development in Literacy, Islamabad.

The nazim urged the teachers of these schools to impart quality education to students to enable them to meet future challenges.

Students of various community schools took part Naatkhwani and debate competitions on the occasion.
