‘Rigging to have a backlash’

By Our Staff Reporter

LAHORE, Dec 1: Punjab PML-N Profession Wing President Dr Syed Asif Kirmani says the rulers should not try to rig the next elections as such a step may have a backlash.

In a press statement here on Friday, he said patience of the common man was already exhausting because of the multifarious problems, and the election rigging would be the proverbial last straw on the camel’s back.

He said the rulers would have to face protests against rigging.

Dr Kirmani said Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif would certainly come to Pakistan once the election schedule was announced.
