Christians seek protection
LAHORE, Dec 1: The Center for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement on Friday called for the government to ensure protection for Christian families of Sharaqpur, Sheikhupura and Muzaffargarh.
A statement alleged that land grabbers in these localities had attacked Christian families in a bid to evict them forcibly. It added that the influential people had been backing land grabbers.
The statement demanded that the Punjab chief minister and the IGP should take notice of incidents and ensure justice to the minorities. — Staff Reporter
