KARACHI, Dec 1: Three ships to load and offload containers and LPG were accommodated berths at QICT and EVT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, two more container ships also arrived at the outer anchorage. Eight ships, Xiang Wan. Al-Mirqab, Thuringia Express, Annie Sierra, Nord Jupiter, Samho Heron, Chepston and Kimberly, were occupying berths to load and offload containers, rice, seeds, edible oil, chemicals and coke.

A cargo volume of 60,181 tons comprising 35,639 tons of import and 24,542 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Thuringia Express and. Samho Heron left the port.
