Oil prices slip
LONDON, Dec 1: World oil prices fell slightly on Friday, though remained close to two-month high points on concerns over falling energy supplies, dealers said.
In London, Brent North Sea crude for January delivery dropped 23 cents to $64.03 in electronic trading. On Thursday, Brent shot up to $64.77 -- the highest level since September 19.
On Friday, New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in January, lost 29 cents to $62.84 per barrel in electronic deals before the official opening of the US market. On Thursday it struck $63.77.
World oil prices have risen sharply this week, mainly owing to data that revealed falls to US energy stocks. —AFP
