QUETTA, Nov 30: Police arrested seven suspected Taliban during a raid on a house in Pakhtunabad here on Thursday night. One of the suspects was injured in the raid.
“They are Taliban and have been living in the house illegally. We are interrogating them,” a senior police office said, adding that they had been booked under the Foreigner Act. He said the injured person was admitted to the civil hospital.
Those arrested were identified as Maulvi Amir Mohammad, Maulvi Anuddin, Naseer Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf, Maulvi Amir Hamza, Abdul Wahid and Abdul Ahad. They belonged to Kandahar, Zabul and Urzgan, sources said.—Correspondent
