Security forces’ camp attacked

QUETTA, Nov 30: Unidentified militants fired rockets at a camp of security forces in Bakhtiarabad area of Sibi district, some 240 km east of here, on Thursday night.

Official sources said that at least nine rockets landed and exploded in the area but none of them was able to hit their target. The security forces retaliated by firing rockets towards the positions of the attackers. However, no damage or casualty was reported in this regard.

SEVEN SUSPECTS HELD: Law-enforcement agencies have arrested seven suspects in connection with the planting of four explosive devices on the railway tracks between Quetta and Nushki. “We are interrogating the suspects arrested by law enforcement agencies,” sources said.

The train service between Quetta and Zahidan could not be restored till Thursday night as the railway tracks that had been blown up in the Glangoor area of Chagai district on Wednesday were being repaired.
