Euromold fair Pakistani pavilion attracts big crowd

ISLAMABAD, Nov 30: The Pakistani pavilion at the Euromold Exhibition, which opened in Frankfurt on Wednesday, was attracting big crowd, and on the very first day it was visited by German, Spanish and South African companies which shown keen interest in outsourcing products and engineering solutions from Pakistan.

Euromold has attracted 1,520 exhibitors from 40 countries this year comprising 931 German exhibitors and 589 foreign exhibitors, according to the Engineering Development Board.

Euromold, the world’s leading technology fair for mould making, tooling, design and application development. Pakistan is fielding four companies for the first time from the platform of the Engineering Development Board. The Pakistani companies have put on display a wide range of goods and services, including plastic blow and injection moulding, precision investment casting, rapid prototyping, CAD/CAM/CAE, engineering designs, services and solutions.

Pakistan’s first-ever participation at this fair has been undertaken to expose the fundamental engineering sector of dies, mould making and tooling to latest technologies and processes. The trade fair has opened new avenues for the Pakistani companies to embrace new technologies for upgradation, integrate with global supply chain and forge business alliances with foreign companies.
