ISLAMABD, Nov 30: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has allowed duty drawback at the rate of Rs25.08 per ton on export of cement to boost its exports.
The decision was announced through a customs notification issued here on Thursday by amending the SRO 840 of 2006.
The facility would be effective, retrospectively, from September 27, 2006. The CBR also restored exemptions of federal excise duty, sales tax and duty drawback on exported cement. —Our Reporter
