Ramesh grabs five wickets

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29: The Pakistan Television (PTV) were bowled out for 296 on the opening day of their three-day Patrons Trophy (Grade-II) semi-final against Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) at the Diamond Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

SSGC won the toss and asked PTV to bat first. They were all out three overs before end of the first day’s play.

Waqar Ahmed was top scorer with 82 slamming 12 boundaries.

His fellow opener Umair Khan scored 34 while Kashif Naveed hit 31.

The PTV innings was boosted by a 56-run partnership for last wicket by Omer Ahsan and Yasin Bari.

For SSGC, Rajesh Ramesh took five wickets for 83 runs.

Left-arm medium-fast Waqar Ahmed and Shakil-ur-Rehman grabbed two wickets each.
