Chief of coastal authority gets more powers

By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, Nov 29: The provincial government has withdrawn the administrative powers of the Coastal Development Authority (CDA) from the Fisheries Department.

The CDA director-general would now have the administrative authority, said an official handout issued here on Wednesday. It stated that the CDA director-general would directly manage the affairs in consultation with the chief minister, who is also the chairman of the CDA’s governing body.
