QUETTA, Nov 29: The Balochistan Unemployed Engineers Association has boycotted the examinations of the Balochistan Public Service Commission in protest against the advertising for only 142 posts instead of the promised 1,100 vacancies.
Speaking at a press conference at the press club on Wednesday, Amanullah Khan, chairman of BUEEA, claimed that Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousuf had announced the vacancies of 1100 posts for different technologies after protesters ended their hunger strike unto death.
He said that the chief minister had assured the jobless engineers that 1,100 posts had been created for them but now the government has announced only 142 posts that would deprive hundreds of unemployed youths an opportunity to get government jobs.
He said that the claim of the government towards mega-development projects was a mere hollow slogan to deceive the people in the name of providing jobs to unemployed graduates.
Chairman of BUEEA warned that if the government did not meet their demands than they would be forced to make a strong protest against the injustices.
