Checkpost attacked

QUETTA, Nov 28: Heavy exchange of fire between militants and security forces was reported from Nushki following an attack on a checkpost on the RCD highway on Tuesday night.

Sources said that the checkpost in Glangoor area was attacked with rockets, mortar shells and other heavy weapons. The troops retaliated and the firefight continued for an hour. No arrest was.

No casualty was reported as the rockets and mortar shells aimed at the checkpost missed the target.

Crossfire between security forces and armed men was also reported from Kahan area. About a dozen rockets had been fired on positions of security forces.
