KARACHI, Nov 28: A fruit vendor was killed in Mochko on Tuesday. Police said Ali Akbar, 70, was sitting at his fruit stall in Ittehad town when unknown persons shot him from close range before fleeing. He was taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
Meanwhile, an expatriate was killed by three persons on Sharea Faisal on Tuesday.
Police said Mehboob Ellahi was in a cab at traffic signal when three men pulled him out and stabbed him to death.
A traffic policeman, Rashid, managed to catch one of the suspects, Noor Husain.
Interrogation transpired that the accused and the victim had an old enmity.
ACCIDENT: A woman died in an accident in Gulistan-i-Jauhar.
Rabia, 25, was disembarking from a public transport when a coach knocked her down. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
ROBBED: A couple was robbed of $3,000 in Block 4-A Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Tuesday.
Police said Shabir Mohammad Hashmi, with his wife, was returning home after withdrawing cash from Bank Al Falah when suspects intercepted him and deprived them of cash.
