KHAIRPUR, Nov 27: A man shot dead his wife and a relative in Bagan Bijarani village near Karampur of Kandhkot district on Monday evening suspecting her of having illicit relations with him.

Reports reaching here said that Wazir Ali Mirani opened fire on his wife Hazooran and her relative Shah Ali Mirani. Both died on the spot.

Karampur police brought the bodies to a hospital in Kandhkot for autopsy and later handed them over to their heirs.

The accused managed to flee after the murder.

ARREST: Police raided at a gambling den in Gharib Abad and arrested six gamblers including two cops.

Reports reaching here said that on a tip-off police raided the house of Bashir Sial and arrested Bashir, Zaheer, Shahan, Allah Bux and two cops and found stake money, playing cards, mobile phone sets and other valuables.

Other gamblers succeded in fleeing from the house.

KIDNAPPED: Armed people kidnapped a girl here on Monday.

Reports reaching here said that Rani, daughter of Ghulam Qadir Baper, a student of Intermediate, was going to Sukkur along with her brother Faheem Baper, when three armed persons kidnapped them at gunpoint.—PPI
