KARACHI, Nov 27: Five ships carrying steel, tallow and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships, Guan He Kou, to unload and load general cargo, Swat, to offload crude oil, Marcalabria, Pac Antilia, Energy Ranger, Ever Guide, Norasia Alpis and Wan Hai 301 to unload and load containers were berthed.

Eight ships, Corin Thaikos, Iran Tabatabaei, Mega-2, Oel Aishwarya, Bunga Terasej, Pac Anitlia, Macalabria and Sky Star departed on Sunday, Dream Bauty, Swat and Wan Hai-301 are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity on the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.154m tons was handled during the last two days comprising 37,970 tons of export cargo and 0.116m tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Chemstar Duke, with tallow, APL Osaka, Mac Aandresew Swala with containers, Mariupol with DAP fertiliser and Fifi Queen with general cargo.
