MARDAN, Nov 25: A girl, who went missing from Darul Aman on Nov 16, resurfaced in the house of Babozai Union Council Nazim Inayat Khan and sought for shelter on Friday.

Four teenage girls had allegedly escaped from Darul Aman a week ago.

It was learnt that Ms Gulzara reached the house of the nazim and asked for refuge.

She expressed concern that if her husband or father came to know that she was out of the Darul Aman they would kill her.

Mr Khan produced her in a local court, where she was granted a bail against a surety bond of Rs 100,000 and was allowed to leave with the nazim. In her statement before, she claimed that in the Darul Aman the atmosphere was suffocating and insecure, unhygienic food was served and they were treated very harshly by the staff.

She said that she had sent a message to her parents for reconciliation but the response was cold, therefore she along with other girls decided to run away from there.
