R&D support sought

KARACHI, Nov 24: Pakistan Cloth Merchants Association (PCMA) Chairman Ahmed Chinoy has urged the government to allow five per cent research and development (R&D) to textile units located in the Karachi Export Processing Zone.

He said that five per cent R&D, allowed to the fabric and home textiles exports under SRO 803(I)/2006, should also be given to the EPZ units to enhance exports of these products.
