Outgoing envoy calls on Indian vice-president


NEW DELHI, Nov 23: Pakistan's outgoing High Commissioner to India Aziz Ahmad Khan on Thursday made a farewell call on the vice-president and chairman of the Rajya Sabha Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

Aziz Khan is scheduled to relinquish his charge by November 30. He took over as Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India on June 30, 2003.

During his tenure, relations between Pakistan and India witnessed considerable improvement, people-to-people contacts received a major boost.—APP
