Karachi Port operations

KARACHI, Nov 22: Two vessels carrying containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Conti Esperance, APL Jeddahnand, Iran Hesabi to unload and load containers and Tigran Martirosyan, an oil tanker were berthed.

Two ships, Conti Esperance, and Tigran Martirosyan, departed, while Iran Hesabi, APL Jeddah, Rising Om, Hyudani Advance and Stolt Avenir are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 51,383 tons comprising 20,198 tons of export cargo’ including 6,384 tons of rice and 31,385 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursay: Corin Thaikos and Y.M.Sun, with containers.
