European shares
LONDON, Nov 22: European stock markets rose on Wednesday, with the aerospace sector grabbing investors' attention on the eve of public holidays in both the United States and Japan, dealers said.London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares rose 0.46 per cent to 6,227.70 points, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.45 per cent to 6,489.63 and in Paris the CAC 40 increased 0.53 per cent to 5,488.02 points.
The DJ Euro Stoxx 50 index of eurozone blue-chip shares won 0.51 per cent in value to 4,116.96 points.—AFP
