KARACHI: Bandit killed

KARACHI, Nov 20: A bandit was killed while the head of a family where the bandits had barged into died of heart failure in Sachal area early Monday. Police said four armed men barged into a house in Dawood Bungalows. The occupants of the house, including Mazhar Din, a head constable, and his two brothers, Asif and Sarfaraz, put up resistance. Mazhar opened fire killing one of the bandits on the spot. His brothers suffered injuries when the bandits opened fire. Hearing gunshots, Muzaffar Din suffered a cardiac arrest and died on the spot.—Staff Reporter
