Omer qualifies for main draw


ISLAMABAD, Nov 19: Omer Abdel Aziz of Egypt defeated Obaid Jehan in straight sets to qualify for the main draw of the Pakistan Open World squash championship starting at the Mushaf Squash Complex from Monday (today).

Three Egyptians, including Omer Abdel Aziz, and five Pakistanis managed to reach the main draw consisting of 32 players.

World No1 Amr Shabana of Egypt is the top-seed in the US$85,000 championship. World No3 Thierry Lincou of France will defend his title.
