Sacrifices won’t go in vain: JKLF

ISLAMABAD, Nov 19: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik has reiterated that the Kashmiris' unprecedented sacrifices for their just cause of liberation would not be allowed to go in vain.He was speaking at a large gathering in Srinagar’s Eidgah on Sunday, after the JKLF held Quran Khwani at its head office to commemorate the martyrdom of its founder member Abdul Hameed Sheikh, who was killed with his 11 associates by Indian troops in 1992.

Liberation movement leader Javed Ahmed Mir, speaking at a similar gathering, urged India to respond positively to Pakistan’s proposals on Kashmir to help resolve the dispute amicably.—APP
