KARACHI: 59 MQM activists join PPP

KARACHI, Nov 19: A spokesman for the PPP has said that 59 activists of Muttahida Qaumi Movement belonging to Old Lyari Sector K joined the Pakistan Peoples Party on Saturday night.

The PPP spokesman said that Tariq Rehmani Baloch and 58 other workers of MQM announced their joining the PPP at a gathering organised by the PPP’s PS-109. Provincial party chief Syed Qaim Ali Shah and leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly Nisar Khuhro, were also present on the occasion. —Our Reporter
