KARACHI, Nov 17: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has said that efforts are being made for the establishment of an enlightened and moderate society based on justice. Under this objective, reforms were being made in all sectors, he said while talking to a delegation, led by visiting Romanian Deputy Prime Minister Bodgan Pascu, which called on him at the Governor’s House on Friday.

The governor and the deputy prime minister expressed hope that the existing bonds between the two countries would strengthen which would result in benefiting people of both countries with opening of opportunities and cooperation in various sectors.

Ishratul Ibad briefed the delegation about the ongoing steps in social and economic sectors and said that possibilities of vast opportunities existed in information technology, education and other sectors. He assured the delegation of all cooperation in Sindh in this regard.

City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal, Principal Secretary Mohammed Saleem Khan, the honorary consul-general of Romania and other officials were also present on the occasion.—APP
