KARACHI, Nov 17: A technician died in a cylinder blast in Malir on Friday. Police said that the explosion occurred at an air-conditioning repair shop located in the Madina Market in Malir-15 area.
The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital from where they were referred to Jinnah Hospital. Nasarullah, 30, was pronounced dead. His associate Asif was admitted to the hospital.
Police said that the explosion occurred due to a faulty cylinder.
FIRE: A fire broke out in a textile plant in Landhi Industrial Area on Friday. Over a dozen fire brigades were employed in the fire-fighting operation which lasted till Friday evening. However, no casualty was reported.
