SWABI, Nov 16: Leaders of various social welfare bodies on Thursday welcomed the passing of the women protection bill but said that there was a need to repeal the Hudood Ordinance, according to a statement. Samaji Behbood Rabita Council chief Roohul Amin said although the women protection bill had been passed after much wrangling, yet it was a step in the right direction.—Correspondent
