SWABI, Nov 16: The Awami National Party (ANP) on Thursday criticised the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) for not carrying out its threat to quit assemblies as it had threatened to in case the government got the Women’s Protection Bill passed by the National Assembly.
At a Rabita programme of the Abaseen Union of Journalists, ANP’s former provincial general secretary Salim Khan and Jehan Zeb Khan said that behind the curtain the MMA leadership was with the government while showing to people that they were opposed to the government.—Correspondent
