Misbah takes five wickets

KARACHI, Nov 13: Off-break bowler Misbah Khan captured five wickets for KESC to help wrap up PWD’s first innings at 229 on the second day of their three-day Patrons Trophy grade-II match at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium on Monday.

KESC had scored 298 in their first innings.

Misbah took five wickets for 71 runs in 27.2 overs while left-arm spinner Shahzeb Khan grabbed three wickets for 43 runs as PWD crumbled to 229 all out in 70th overs despite a flying opening stand of 94 runs between Raheel Majeed and Khalid Latif.

Raheel's knock of 70 was laced with 12 hits to the boundary and one six while Khalid Latif struck three sixes and five boundaries in his innings of 56.

KESC at close of the day’s play scored 54 for three wickets in their second innings.
