Youth dies on road

BAHAWALPUR, Nov 13: A youth, Tajammal, was run over and killed by a speeding bus on Jhangiwala Road here on Monday.

The deceased was the nephew of local journalist Naseer Ahmed Nasir. Police have arrested the bus driver.

Meanwhile, police claimed to have recovered 5kg hashish from the laundry of new central jail here and arrested Ahmed Hayat and Iqbal. — Correspondent
