PESHAWAR, Nov 13: Achieving revenue targets set by the Central Board of Revenue for the Peshawar dry port was linked with resolution of problems being faced by exporters, importers and clearing agents.
The matter was discussed at a meeting held between a delegation of the Frontier Customs Agents Group (FCAG) and the newly appointed Deputy Collector Customs Asghar Khan.
The delegation, led by FCAG chairman Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, pointed out the difficulties being faced by clearing agents at the dry port.
Mr Sarhadi said the Peshawar dry port lacked facilities for people associated with the import and export business.—APP
