BAGHDAD, Nov 11: Guerillas killed 16 people in Iraq on Saturday, including 11 in Baghdad, where four bombs rocked the capital, security sources said.
Eight civilians were killed and 38 wounded when a car bomb and a roadside bomb exploded simultaneously in a market in central Baghdad's Hafidh al-Qadi area, a security source said.
A number of car bombs have exploded in various markets across Baghdad in the past few days after the lifting of a curfew imposed during the sentencing of Saddam Hussein last Sunday.
Two more roadside bombs in Baghdad killed another two people dead and five wounded, the source said.—AFP
