KARACHI, Nov 11: Provincial president of the PML (F) Pir Sadruddin Shah on Saturday urged President Gen Pervez Musharraf to ensure provincial autonomy to the federating units on the basis of equality and called for formulating a comprehensive policy to overcome the deteriorating law and order situation.

These demands have been articulated in the resolution adopted in the party’s provincial working committee meeting which was chaired by Pir Sadruddin Shah. The meeting was held at the residence of Jam Madad Ali in which Muzaffar Shah and Ch Iftekhar Ahmad were also present.

The meeting condemned Dargai incident and demanded that culprits be brought to justice.

The meeting also decided to celebrate Pir Pagara’s birthday on Nov 22.

The meeting also approved the name of provincial office-bearers of the party. They included Zulfiqar Ali Shah Jamote (senior VP), Noor Mohammad Shah Jilani and Ch. Iftekhar Ahmad (Vice Presidents), Imamdin Shoqeen additional General Secretary with additional charge of treasurer, Zahid Shah Lakiari and Thakur Nazeer (JS) and Abdul Qadir Ghamro (Secretary Information).
