Sarfraz to coach New Delhi fast bowlers

KARACHI, Nov 9: Pakistan's former fast bowler Sarfraz Nawaz will be going to India later this month to train New Delhi’s upcoming fast bowlers for the Ranjhi Trophy. The former pacer, known for his reverse swing, will give a ten-day training to the pacers during his visit to the Indian capital starting from November 15.

“I will go there for ten days to train the Delhi fast bowlers for the Ranjhi Trophy,” Sarfraz who took 177 wickets in 55 Test matches told a local TV channel on Thursday.

Sarfraz, 58, will become the second Pakistani to coach an Indian domestic side. Former Pakistan skipper Intikhab Alam had coached the Indian Punjab side two years ago.—Agencies
