MoU signed between two agri varsities

FAISALABAD, Nov 9: The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), Uthal, Balochistan, have signed a memorandum of understanding to share scientific information and research material.

The vice-chancellors of the two varsities signed the MoU at a ceremony held at the UAF VC’s chamber the other day.

Under the agreement to last for five years, both institutions will arrange mutual visits of scientists and students for training and research purposes.

The two sides have also agreed to arrange various activities relating to enhancement of research and holding joint programmes and seminars.

It was also decided that the UAF would help facilitate the strengthening of faculties of crop and plant and veterinary sciences of the LUAWMS.
