Cueists win in Jordan

KARACHI, Nov 8: Pakistan's Khurram Agha has notched up his third win in the IBSF World snooker championship at Amman, Jordan when he beat Franz Stahli of Switzerland 4-0.

According to information received here on Wednesday, 28-year-old Khurram displayed superb potting to register an impressive 88-16, 68-14, 59-15, 80-05 victory. Earlier, Naveen Perwani defeated Isam Makawi of Syria 84-02, 77-37, 86-26, 56-22 to earn his second successive win in the tournament.

Former World amateur champion Mohammad Yousuf continued his winning run in the Masters event and beat John Dobson of Wales in straight frames 63-46, 68-27, 68-42.—Agencies
