Terror suspect held after raid

QUETTA, Nov 6: A terror suspect was arrested on Monday after police raided a house in the Bolan Medical Complex and seized illegal arms and ammunition, including two hand-grenandes

Officials said that the raid was carried out after police were tipped off about the presence of the alleged suspect.

The raid was conducted early Monday morning and according to the police, it also seized five AK-47 Kalashnikov assault rifles, huge quantity of high explosive material, three timers of 107mm rockets and several detonators.

SSP Saddar identified the accused as Bakhat Ali Bugti, an employee of BMC.

APP adds: According to the police, maps and other documents, including press clippings about bomb blasts and rocket firing, were also recovered from the suspect’s possession.

Satellite phone numbers of Brahamdagh Bugti and other leaders of the defunct Baloch Liberation Army were also recovered from his custody.
