KARACHI, Nov 6: Seven vessels carrying palm oil, coal and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity on the wharves was maintained on the higher side where 10 ships were berthed. They are: Dream, a passenger ship, Wan Hai-303, Marcalabria, Ever Govern, Thor Champion, Amassis, to unload and load containers, Stolt Ami and Luck-7, tankers, Frontier Angel to offload coal, and Hanjin Brisbane, to offload and load general cargo.

Sailing was also active as the same number of ships departed including Corin Thaikos, Mega-2, Orient Independence, Wan Hai-303, Ever Govern, Bunga Delima, Maersk Arkansas, Marcalabria and Dragonis departed on Monday, while Stolt Ami, Lucky-7, Thor Champion and Dream are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.110m tons comprising 25,918 tons of export cargo, notably 2,523 tons of rice and 83,590 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Global Union, with chemicals, Alberta, to load 44,000 tons of molasses, Pacific Jade, with 7,800 tons of palm oil, APL Jabel Ali, Iran Hesabi, with containers, Pacific Pioneer, with 37,000 tons of coal and Star Eagle, with 6,700 tons of steel cargo.
